For those who do not know, we recently launched Xelecagents.in, our lovable/windsurf/cursor ++ for the electroncis and the semiconductors industry, in an exclusive access-only fashion yesterday (1st feb). It's in beta version, so there are bugs, but we are working on fixing them.
We are also going live on product hunt - https://www.producthunt.com/products/xelec-agents?launch=xelec-agents - Please feel free to leave a review.
So, I thought of doing something quite revolutionary, actually try building end-to-end electronics product without getting my engineers involved.
The first thing that I was somewhat confident about was our AI supply chain manager Sally. I tested her to find a component. Other people whom we have given access, also started using Sally for their procurement. It is working fine, with a few bugs :)
Then, I thought that I should use it to build the world's first hardware product. I thought of going with a simple Bluetooth speaker. Something, that I know isn't too complext, but I cannot do it without the help of my engineers.
Here's how I did it -
Went to Maxie, and gave her details of my project. ( You are seeing FIRA in the screenshot because I am working on the firmware with her, while taking the screenshots)

2. Maxie asked a few questions, and then asked if I want to handover to Raj (Our R&D planning Agent).

3. I agreed, Raj came and asked a few questions. I will now skip some steps

4. Raj did its work, and then proposed to handover the conversation to Rajan.

5. Then, the handover was done to Rajan.

6. Honestly, Rajan did the pin mappings, and the calculations, and block diagram somewhat well. It strucggled with outputing a schematic though.

7. It then tried designing a schematic, where it struggled. We are working on getting it better though.

The Pin to Pin mapping was done but generating an actual schematic was challenging.

At Attempt three I knew that while Pin to Pinmappings might be correct, Rajan will struggle somwhat with actual schematic generation for now. Some work needs to go there to convert the logic into actual representation.
Then, we moved on to creating the Code with FIRA.

Fira Generated the code for us, she also gave me the code files to be uploaded into our system. PCB design agent is still under works so I skipped that.
For the next steps, I will now go on to test the circuit and the code. I already have identified what can be improved where. Let's see if the bluetooth speaker I make with this, works or not. But I am pretty excited.
Can the platform act as a copilot? -Yes.
Can it act as an agent - Not right now. In sometime, yes.
If you also want access to our platform, please request access on xelecagents.in. Sally (AI supply chain manager ) is already helping people for their procurement needs.
We are live on producthunt as well. Will really appreaciate your support. - https://www.producthunt.com/products/xelec-agents?launch=xelec-agents
Looking forward to sending the next update with a working blueetooth speaker video.
